Break announces 2-year partnership with Zoological Society of East Anglia

Break is delighted to announce a new two-year charity partnership with the Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA), the conservation charity behind popular visitor attractions Banham Zoo and Africa Alive.
As part of this relationship, the Zoological Society of East Anglia will also take on the role of Principle Partner for Break's next sculpture trail, GoGoSafari 2025. In addition, both charities will join forces for shared fundraising events and initiatives aimed at raising awareness for their respective causes.

"This collaboration aligns perfectly with our commitment to conservation and community support. We look forward to making a positive social impact on the lives of those served by Break, while also enhancing the experiences we offer for our community.”

GoGoSafari will include five majestic animals straight from the African Savannah marching their way across Norwich and Norfolk in the summer of 2025. The safari sculpture trail will see everyone’s favourite the Gorilla, last seen in Norwich in 2013 alongside a new elephant, a lion, a giraffe and a rhino! There will also be a Learning & Community Programme which will include schools and community groups decorating their own smaller giraffe sculpture.
Delivered by Break the trail is in partnership with Wild in Art and the Zoological Society of East Anglia, with presenting partners Norwich BID and Chantry Place. Taking place for around ten weeks in the summer of 2025, we are hoping to have approximately 50 sculptures across the city and county. Each will be sponsored by a business that will choose from designs submitted by artists to bring their sculptures to life.
