Learning and Community Programme
Schools and community groups from across Norfolk have been letting their creativity loose on Breakasaurus mini sculptures who, along with their T.rex big brothers and sisters and mighty Steppe Mammoth friends, form this year’s Norwich and Norfolk GoGoDiscover trail.
At its heart, GoGoDiscover is about community. More than 12,000 children and young people decorated the 100 Breakasaurus T.rex mini sculptures which could be found hiding across our fine city this summer.
Art has the power to change lives. This programme aimed to inspire creativity, imagination, nurture confidence and improve the artistic skills in those involved.
We hoped you love spotting them as much as these young people have enjoyed creating them. After the trail The Breakasaurus sculptures will return to the schools or groups where they were created – to inspire (and hopefully not terrify!) young people for generations to come. And best of all, the trail reminds people of the work that Break does to nurture the confidence, skills and independence of the young people we support.
