Design Inspiration
This colourful sculpture was inspired by hawker dragonflies and you can see many of them around this nature-themed dinosaur. Hawker has been created by local artist Lisa Kirkham, who also painted a county hare during the GoGoHares trail in 2018. Lisa’s work is inspired by natural history and decorative arts, and her artistic style has lent itself wonderfully to creating this stunning beast. How many colourful dragonflies can you spot on Hawker?
