Lifelong opportunities for care leavers

For many young people in care, the opportunities they deserve can often feel out of reach.

At Break, we’re changing that by empowering them to dream big. Through experiences like creating podcasts, volunteering and going to wilderness retreats they can build their confidence and gain important life skills.

But we don’t stop there. We make sure they are always heard. We create spaces where young people can speak up, share their ideas, and shape the services they need. After all, who better to tell us what they need than the young people themselves.

Young people between the ages of 16 and 20 and who have been in care are four times more likely to be unemployed than their peers.
