Over the past three years, the amazing team at Xaar, the leading inkjet technology specialist based in Cambridge, have gone above and beyond in support of Break. Through their dedication and hard work, they’ve raised a phenomenal £100,000 to help us continue our work support young people growing up in care and leaving care.
From the moment Xaar chose Break as their Charity of the Year three years ago, their staff dived headfirst into making a difference. Whether it was running marathons, scaling the Three Peaks, skydiving, or lending their hands to painting and gardening at our children’s homes, or supported our popular sculpture trails – their commitment has been inspiring.
Thanks to their fantastic Charity Champions who took the time to learn about Break’s mission and spread the word, they helped rally their colleagues to get involved and Xaar has matched every pound their employees raised, bringing the total to an incredible £100,000.
Sarah Bunn, Break Fundraising Manager says:
“Our partnership with Xaar has been nothing short of incredible. Their enthusiasm, creativity, and generosity have made a lasting impact on the young people we support. We are beyond grateful for their dedication and the fantastic amount they have raised. This funding will go a long way in helping us provide essential services and life-changing opportunities. From all of us at Break – thank you, Xaar!”
And we’re also thrilled to continue our partnership with Xaar for another year! Their amazing employees will keep fundraising and volunteering, helping Break provide life-changing support to even more young people in the year ahead
Graham Tweedale, Chief Operating Officer at Xaar added:
“We are immensely proud of our partnership with Break and the difference we have been able to make so far. Reaching £100,000 is a fantastic achievement and it’s all down to the dedication and enthusiasm of our employees. With another year of fundraising ahead, we’re looking forward to continuing to support Break and making a real difference in our local communities.”
