Excitement is reaching new heights for GoGoSafari as we kick off this year with the grand unveiling of one of the first sculptures that can be seen out on the trail this summer - Wild Harmony!
Revealed at an exclusive event for all businesses involved in the trail, the stunning giraffe was created by acclaimed artist Liobhan Alanna and sponsored by GoGoSafari partner, the Zoological Society of East Anglia (ZSEA).
Liobhan Alanna is known for her unique designs inspired by the natural world, and with intricate details and shimmering gold accents, Wild Harmony is a breath-taking preview of what’s to come in this spectacular art trail!
Stunning sculpture "Harmony" by artist Rachael Cozens.
Commenting on their sculpture, Rachael Cozens, Community and Engagement Manager for ZSEA says: "We absolutely love Wild Harmony! It’s such a timeless design and the gold accents really stand out. We chose a giraffe as we have them at both Africa Alive and Banham Zoo, making it a perfect fit. We’re so proud to be part of GoGoSafari and can’t wait to see all the wonderful sculptures out on the streets. The project aligns perfectly with our values - not just conservation, but community engagement and we’re excited to see how much the trail raises for Break’s incredible work.” A Sneak Peek for Sponsors.
The event, attended by local businesses and organisations sponsoring sculptures for the trail, also gave local businesses insights on how to maximise their involvement, from community engagement to marketing opportunities, all while supporting Break.
"We are beyond excited to see GoGoSafari begin to come to life, and we’re sure this will be the best trail yet!” comments Ellie Edge, Break Partnership Manager. “Every single design is going to bring something special to the streets of Norwich and Norfolk, and we can’t wait to see them all together. The incredible businesses supporting this trail are making it possible for us to create something truly unforgettable. Most importantly, every sculpture will help raise awareness and vital funds for young people who need our support. We can’t wait for summer 2025!”
Break's Marketing and PR Lead Nikki Neile stands next to sculpture for scale.
With excitement building, we need you to be part of GoGoSafari! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to become Trail Rangers, helping visitors navigate the trail, engage with the sculptures, and ensure everyone has an unforgettable experience.
