We’re delighted to announce Xaar plc, leading inkjet printing technology Group, as the supporter of the trail’s volunteer programme which will see a dedicated group of volunteer Trail Rangers help look after our gentle giants.

“We’re really excited to have Xaar support our volunteers,” comments Pete Marron, Break’s Senior Partnerships Manager. “We really couldn’t do the trail without the help of our wonderful volunteers. There are a range of roles our Trail Rangers can do, from helping us getting the herd ready to go onto the streets to making sure they’re looking their best throughout the trail. They’re also the opportunity to get involved in events and Break fundraising. It’s a really fun and rewarding initiative and we encourage any individuals and businesses who might be interested to contact us!”

Here's just some of what our Trail Rangers get up to:

• Help deliver the pre-trail installation of the Giraffe sculptures across the city
• Steward and fundraise at one of our wonderful events
• Join us and help to look after our herd by cleaning the sculptures whilst on the trail
• Become an ambassador for the trail and for Break to promote the amazing work we do across the region
• Prepare our sculptures for the charity auction and their new forever homes
• Have an incredible experience which is lots of fun!
