For many growing up in care, having a roof over their head may offer some stability but what can truly make a difference is having someone they can trust.

Someone to guide them through life’s ups and downs, to listen to them, to believe in them. That’s why our volunteer mentors mean so much. A mentor doesn’t just offer advice. They open doors to new experiences, new relationships, and new confidence.

And right now, we have a growing list of young people eager to be matched with a mentor. To reach them all, we urgently need to expand this life-changing service.

This Christmas, we’re asking you to help us raise £15,000 so that every young person can have someone they trust.

Could you be the one who opens those doors?

Give differently this year

Every penny you contribute directly supports the young people who need it most. It means we can recruit, train, and support mentors so every young person in care can find someone they can trust.

Your generosity today ensures that we can:

  • Recruiting and training mentors so they are ready to provide the best support.
  • Ongoing guidance and supervision for mentors, ensuring safe and meaningful relationships.
  • Supporting young people directly with practical skills, emotional guidance, and shared experiences.
  • Expand our reach so more young people have access to the support they deserve.
  • Access to Break’s training, and socials events to bring mentors and mentees together

A roof is just the start. This Christmas, give differently. Open a door.
