Alan Boswell Group joins the herd as Cambridge Standing Tall Presenting Partner!

15 May 2023

Break are delighted to announce Alan Boswell Group as the Presenting Partner for Cambridge Standing Tall – an art sculpture trail that will see around forty giraffe sculptures towering over the city next spring!

“We’re really excited to be the presenting partner for Cambridge Standing Tall,” comments Marketing Manager Lee Boswell. “Making a difference to the local community is hugely important to us and this is a great opportunity for us to not only support the great work Break does for young people in and around care, but also to help raise the company profile in Cambridge and build new relationships. Everyone in the trail is part of something special, something unique. It’s fantastic to have that shared experience with other, like-minded businesses and be able to have the opportunity to engage with them.”

Nicola Chrebelska, Personal Lines Manager from the Alan Boswell Group.

Expected to bring over 350,000 residents and visitors to the city, the 11-week trail is a unique and innovative way for businesses to engage with a varied audience whilst also delivering on their corporate social responsibility objectives, with all proceeds going towards ensuring the charity’s young care leavers have the support they need as they journey towards independence.

Break Senior Partnerships and Projects Manager Pete Marron says: “We’re really pleased to have Alan Boswell Group as our presenting partner and they will play a vital role in helping us bring the trail to life next spring. We understand that each business is different and will have their own reason for taking part, so we work closely to ensure that they achieve what they want from being involved in the trail. It’s a really great way for businesses and their teams to be involved in an inclusive public art event that is profile raising, community focused and has both positive social and economic impact on the region - and we are always looking for more organisations to join our tower of giraffe supporters!”

Delivered by local charity Break, which supports young people in and around care across East Anglia, the trail is in partnership with Wild in Art and Principal Partner Cambridge BID, and follows the ma-hoof-sive success of Cows about Cambridge which generated an economic impact of £19.5 million for the local business community with 98% of sponsors seeing a positive return on investment.
