Get ready to take home your very own giraffe sculpture at charity auction!

After 10 weeks of entertaining the residents and visitors of Cambridge, over 30 giraffe sculptures from the art sculpture trail Cambridge Standing Tall, will going under the hammer on Wednesday 19 June at Graduate Cambridge.

Hosted by acclaimed auctioneer Natasha Raskin Sharp, from TV’s Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Antiques Roadshow, all proceeds will go towards Break to stand tall with care experienced young people and raise the aspirations of the county’s care leavers.

Starting from £1500, there will be 30 Large Gs and 5 Mini G sculptures going under the hammer. Each has a story to tell with both local and national artists having put their creative mark on the design. The 35 lots also include one white Large G and Mini G ready to be given their very own unique artwork.

For those attending the auction you can expect an enjoyable evening, thanks to sponsors Alan Boswell and Graduate Cambridge, with an exclusive sparkling reception and BBQ surrounded by all the beautiful sculptures from the trail. Or, you can join in from the comfort of your own home via our online auction portal or over the phone.

Either way, you’ll not only secure a spectacular sculpture for your home, garden or business, but will also help Break continue their vital work in giving care experienced young people the love, support and ambition they deserve.

“It’s been brilliant to see so many people enjoy Cambridge Standing Tall this spring and we are excited to see what’s next for our sculptures!” comments Pete Marron. “So many people have fallen in love with them and have their favourites. Our incredible artists have created some amazing designs making something completely unique. This auction is the perfect opportunity to be able to take home an original piece of art and a memento of another fantastic trail all whilst supporting Break and young care leavers across the county.”
