What We Do

FB Cover Image 1

Break provides long lasting care and support for the children and young people who need us. For as long as they need us.

We build relationships with every child we work with to uncover how best to meet their needs now and in the future. Our expertise and success gives us the confidence to be bold and creative.

Whatever a child’s start in life, we believe that with the right care there is no limit to what they can achieve.

Break has  seven mainstream children’s homes  across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. We  are proud that all our children’s homes are somewhere safe that young people can call home, with adults who love, care, and look out for them. We provide a home where young people can belong, begin to flourish, and embrace their future with confidence and hope.

When a young person leaves Break's care at just 18 years old, or sometimes even younger, they will continue to be supported by our in-house Moving on or Staying Close, Staying Connected teams.

In addition to the mainstream homes across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, Break has a children’s home for young people with profound learning and physical disabilities and two short-break schemes for children with disabilities in Suffolk.

Break also provides a Therapeutic Fostering Service, an Emotional Wellbeing Service, and a range of assessment and support services to children at risk through a Residential Family Centre.
