The GoGo Hares trail will run from 24th June - 8th September 2018

GoGoHares 2018

GoGoHares 2018 is presented by Break in partnership with Wild in Art.

There are 50 city sculptures forming the main trail with a further 18 moongazer sculptures across Norfolk in towns, villages and tourist attractions.

The trail started on Sunday 24th June and runs to Saturday 8th September.  There will be the last chance to see all the large sculptures on 7th – 10th October, after which 50 sculptures will be auctioned off on 11th October.  The proceeds will raise valuable funds for Break.

There is also an education programme called GoGoCreate which has enabled schools, nurseries and community groups to decorate their very own young hare or leveret. 164 baby hares, leverets, joined the main trail on Monday 2nd July and will be in various locations including, intu Chapelfield, Castle Mall, the Forum, John Lewis and independent shops and businesses until 2nd September.

The Hare has been chosen as it is a popular iconic subject for artists and can regularly be seen in the countryside of East Anglia.

50 has been chosen as the number of city hares in recognition of Break’s 50th Anniversary in 2018.

This is the third time Break has partnered with Wild in Art to present a major public art event.

GoGoHares is brought to Norwich with the help of supporting partners Aspiration Europe, The Beeston Group, intu Chapelfield and The Norse Group.  The trail is also being supported by the EDP, Norwich Evening News as media partners, Ridgeons as logistics partner, Jarrold as retail partner and TW Gaze as auction partner.

Maps are available in tourist information centres in the city and county and Break charity shops or you can download the app GoGoHares 2018 Norwich on iphone and android.

GoGoHares merchandise including, bags, tea towels, badges and postcards and the limited edition Emma Bridgewater 'Hare' mug can be bought from Jarrold, the Forum shop and some Break shops.

EDP sticker books and stickers are available from Archant and Break charity shops.

Pablo the circus hare is not on the trail as he is giving you the chance to win him in a raffle. He is in intu Chapelfield near the information desk and the £10 tickets can be purchased there. You can also pick up a GoGoCreate leveret poster there too.
