The Friends of Families' House Annual Fundraiser

The Friends of Families' House have pleasure in announcing their annual fundraiser at The John Innes Centre, Norwich on Tuesday 4 April with Philip Webster, ex Political Editor at The Times.

Philip will talk about his 40 plus years covering politics for The Times - giving his verdict on the leaders who have led the UK during those decades and the plots, intrigues and the scandal that makes the world at Westminster go round.

Philip was born in Rockland St Mary, five miles from Norwich, and attended school in Norfolk beginning his career at the Eastern Daily Press. He joined The Times in early 1973 and retired from the paper last year. His book "Inside Story" was published in October 2016.

He covered the careers of eight prime ministers, travelling nearly one million miles around the world with them. He is an avid golfer and skier and season ticket holder at Norwich City.

Drinks and canapes will be served from 7pm with the talk beginning at 8pm.

Suggested donation £25
