volunteers working for 160,000 hours

I love the hours I spend volunteering in the Break charity shop. I meet such interesting people and look forward to my weekly sessions

Volunteers

Volunteering in a Break charity shop is fun and rewarding and a great way to make new friends and to give something back.

We welcome people with a variety of skills. Our volunteers give anything from a couple of hours to two or three days per week; it is entirely up to you. We want you to enjoy helping out at a Break shop as part of the team and would welcome any time you can give.

Some of the tasks you may undertake include:

Helping and serving customers
Sorting stock
Till work
Window dressing

Working in a Break shop is not just about doing the jobs that need to be done. It's about meeting people, making friends and working as part of a team to raise funds to help vulnerable children, young people and families.

If you have spare time and are looking for something really worthwhile, why not become a volunteer? Contact retail@break-charity.org.

Alternatively, you can pop into your local shop where the manager will be happy to show you around and complete an application form with you there and then.
