I love the hours I spend volunteering in the Break charity shop. I meet such interesting people and look forward to my weekly sessions

Volunteers

Volunteering in a Break charity shop is brilliant fun, incredibly rewarding, and a great way to meet new people - as well as an opportunity to give something back!

Whether you're great with numbers or have a keen creative eye, we welcome people with a variety of skills to our team of volunteers! Our volunteers give anything from a couple of hours to two or three days per week; it's entirely up to you. We want you to enjoy helping out as part of the team and hugely appreciate any time you can give.

Your activities volunteering in the shop would range from day to day, but will include:

  • Helping and serving customers
  • Sorting stock
  • Till work
  • Window dressing

Working in a Break shop is not just about doing the jobs that need to be done. It's about meeting people, making friends and working as part of a team to raise funds to help vulnerable children, young people, and families.

If you have some spare time and are looking for something really worthwhile, why not become a volunteer? Contact retail@break-charity.org.

Alternatively, you can pop into your local shop where the manager will be happy to show you around and complete an application form with you there and then.
