Wymondham Rotary Satellite Group buys Break a log cabin

The Group raised an amazing £6,500 for Break.

On Thursday, August 30, Break’s patron Jake Humphrey cut the ribbon and opened an incredible new log cabin at Primrose House, one of Break’s children’s homes in Norwich.

The cabin was purchased by funds from the Wymondham Rotary Satellite Group who raised an amazing £6,500 for Break by holding a variety of fundraisers from quiz nights to metal detector events!

Break’s Lee Roberts, Manager at Primrose House said “We are so thankful to both the Wymondham Rotary Satellite Group and the Wymondham Rotary Club for their incredible fundraising and for making this possible for our young people to enjoy. The cabin is such a relaxing chill out space for our young people to use for socialising with their families and friends”.

The Wymondham Rotary Club also helped fundraise to make the cabin extra special by adding the finishing touches to the inside of the cabin, including furniture, soft furnishings and even a multi games pool table.

Break Patron Jake Humphrey said “It’s the kind support from organisations like Wymondham Rotary who really help to make a difference to the children and young people in Break’s care. The cabin is a fantastic addition to the garden and is sure to be enjoyed for many years to come”.
