Recruitment Directors Get a Dunking!

ARC Recruitment celebrates 10th anniversary in aid of Break.

ARC Recruitment celebrated their 10th Anniversary on Saturday 8 September at Top Farm in Marsham by putting on a charity fun day with a difference.

The Norwich based recruitment company specialising in the Construction, Logistics, Industrial and  Residential Care sectors across East Anglia chose to support Break by hosting a ‘Dunk the Directors’ booth at the corporate fun day. The company Directors and Senior Management team took it all in their stride as ARC employees paid £5.00 each to dunk them multiple times!

ARC and Break have an already close relationship, with the Residential Care Division suppling Children Support Workers to Break’s amazing Residential Respite Homes.

ARC Group Director Chris Ford said “My fellow Directors and I getting dunked was definitely worth it to raise money for such a worthy charity and a great way to celebrate our 10th Anniversary with our wonderful staff” £50.00 to £100.00 was donated by members of staff to nominate their colleagues to receiving a dunking.

KLM UK Engineering supported the event by donating a star raffle prize – a tour for 10 people at KLM Head Quarters in Norwich. The dunking donations, along with the raffle raised an amazing total of £1,100 for Break which was then doubled by ARC to £2,200.

Danielle Gravestock, Senior Fundraising Officer at Break said “We can’t thank everyone at ARC enough for their kind fundraising support. The connection between ARC and Break is fantastic as Break are also celebrating a milestone anniversary this year.”

“£2,200 is a remarkable amount to have raised and will go such a long way to helping Break to change the young lives of so many vulnerable children and young families – right here in East Anglia.”
