The Prom Nation 'Pick a Dress' event is a hit!

The 2nd annual prom dress event raises vital funds for Break

Prom can be an expensive time for families. That's why Prom Nation set up a campaign to collect brand new and pre-loved prom dresses in aid of Break.

Together, we believe we can make prom affordable and accessible for everyone!

Tracey, the founder of Prom Nation set up the campaign in early 2017 with the aim of collecting as many prom dresses as possible. The first event launched in April 2018, raising over £1,500 for Break.

She said, "The campaign is all about making prom affordable for everyone. With brand new dresses costing around £200 - Prom Nation has dresses on sale from just £15! The best bit is 100% of the money raised goes directly to Break." She added, "The support of the campaign has been outstanding and together we can really make prom night dreams a reality".

Prom Dresses

In April 2019, Tracey held the second annual 'Pick a Dress' event at the Maids Head Hotel in Norwich - who have also chosen Break as their charity of the year!

The event saw hundreds of teens enjoy a free manicure, makeover and hairstyle before trying on some of the fantastic dresses on sale at a fraction of the price.

So far the campaign has raised over £3,000 for the charity and in February 2019, Break opened a bridal and prom dress shop above its store in Attleborough.

The shop now homes all of the beautiful dresses collected by Prom Nation, where they will remain on sale up until the next event.

Dresses have kindly been donated by members of the public, Party & Prom in Long Stratton, City Brides, Prima Donna Bridal and New-U in Castle Mall.

To donate a dress please pop your dress in a bag, clearly mark for 'PROM NATION', and take to your local Break shop.
