Mad Hatter's Tea Party for GoGoHares!

Characters from Alice in Wonderland join GoGoHares! launch

Actors from The Maddermarket Theatre created mayhem and lots of laughter at a Mad Hatter's Tea Party for the launch of the 2018 sculpture trail - a Wild in Art event brought to Norwich by Break.

A huge crowd of onlookers joined in the fun too as the anticipation mounted for the unveling of two of the three sculptures created especially for the trail by Wild in Art's Creative Director, Chris Wilkinson.

Dead on the dot of 5pm, Michael Rooney, Break's Head of Commercial Services addressed the crowd, but not before a shout out for the White Rabbit!  He spoke about what the previous trails had done for Break and how the new trail in 2018 will run alongside celebrations for Break's 50th anniversary.

Martin Green, Project Manager for GoGoHares!/Fundraising Manager told the throng about the project, how there will be three designs, one for schools, one for the 50 hares in the City and one for the 15 to be cited in local towns across Norfolk.

Michael then had a chat with Jordan, a young man who lives in Break's first moving on house in King's Lynn funded by the money raised by GoGoDragons!  Jordan obviously loves the independence and confidence this is giving him thanks to your generosity during the GoGoDragons! trail and the auction.

Then the moment arrived to unveil the cut outs of the hares, supplied by SignsExpress and painted by Mik Richardson and to enjoy jam tarts and a fabulous cake donated by Biddy's Tea Room.  Followed by the fabulous Emma Nuule singing 'I could have danced all night'.
