GoGoGorillas hit the streets of Norwich

On the streets of Norwich from 24 June, follow the trail!

It has taken over a year in the planning, from fibreglass gorilla shells to magnificent one-off pieces of amazing art.  The gorillas will arrive on the streets of Norwich for 11 weeks from Monday 24 June.

The designs and the bringing to life of them are truly magnificent.  Artists have worked with sponsors to create a wide variety of canvasses which will inspire, giving the viewer much food for thought!  The designs cover a wide range of topics from environmental issues to sports, fantasy, fiction and film to Norfolk scenes and animals.

You can pick up a trail map in the city or download it from the website www.gogogorillas.co.uk; find it on the App for Apple and Android - gogogorillas; follow on FB and twitter.

Five of the gorillas will be whisked away to the Royal Norfolk Show 26 and 27 June so if you are doing the trail in the first week you may need to take in the show as well to catch them all.

The trail finishes on 7 September when the gorillas will get themselves spruced up for the Auction at The Forum, Norwich on Thursday 3 October where the funds raised will help to change young lives for Break and help the Born Free Foundation protect lowland gorillas in the Congo.  To find out more about auction night tickets contact martin.green@break-charity.org or phone Fundraising at Break on 01603 670100.

We hope you enjoy the trail and the wonderful City of Norwich.  Please tweet us your pics and check out the App for other ways to engage with GoGogorillas.
