Charity Golf Day Raises £2,500

The annual Break charity golf day is a roaring success!

On Friday 26th April 2019, 24 teams battled it out to take home the winners trophy - but there could only be one team crowned the champions of the Royal Cromer Golf Day 2019.

An incredible £2,500 was raised for Break - we would like to thank our event sponsors, volunteers, and attendees for making this such a magnificent day to remember.

Break would like to say a special thank you to Royal Cromer Golf Club. The club has supported the annual golfing event for the past 9 years - helping us to raise vital funds to change young lives locally.

The scores were incredibly close between all of the teams who took part. Winners were as follows:

3rd place - Crab Salad
2nd place - Dereham Dynamos (2018 Winners)
1st place - Scraptoft Eagles

Scraptoft Eagles are a group of gents from Leicester whohave been taking part in our charity golf day for the past 4 years, and this year they came up trumps! An amazing result for them - well done!

Mike Creasey from the Scraptoft Eagles said, "We would like to thank Sarah, the event organiser, for all of her hard work to make the event special for everyone. The Scraptoft Eagles are so chuffed to have won this lovely trophy. We will bring it back in 2020 when we will return to defend our title!"
